Still waters run deep is, although part of my series of 6 sculptures that seemed to define my life in 2005 and 2006, together with his sister ‘Blue’ more personal than the four horses. My son very kindly sat for me although it is very clear from the posture that he was not very enamoured with the idea (‘only an hour mum, it is not my idea of fun to sit here on the kitchen floor in cycling shorts’)
Somewhere out there in London is a DJ who possesses the only sculpture that has ‘Still waters’ and ‘Blue’ united, title ‘The separation’. Good on you mate!
